Greetings all,
I am wondering if anyone has experienced any problems with their teeth after ingesting large amounts of lemon juice and blackstrap molasses. I only ask as my teeth have deteriorated very rapidly, and my front two teeth especially (and one in particular) now have noticeable lines across them, which is clearly due to very severe enamel erosion. It appears that the high acid content of the lemon and the concentrated sugars of the molasses have literally dissolved my tooth enamel, and in very profound lines lying exactly where the drink swishes against my front teeth prior to being swallowed.
I recently began drinking the lemon juice and blackstrap molasses drink through a straw, and I assume that, since this will result in the front teeth being bypassed altogether, there will be no further wear. Do people here believe that this is enough; i.e. drinking the drink through a straw and rinsing one's mouth with distilled water afterward? I would really like to continue with the drink, so as to provide much-needed minerals whilst progressing through a liver flush protocol, but the wear on my teeth is incredibly depressing. Speaking to my mother of this yesterday, she said: "Well, your teeth will be the first thing people notice." Ugh!
Oh, and while I am here, does anyone have any suggestions as to how one might repair tooth enamel? I read that alfalfa works well at rebuilding teeth and bone, so I just went and bought some seeds to sprout in hope of making a positive impact upon this body of mine. Any recommendations or testimonials would be more than delightful...
Thank you.
