Hi, On day 4 I lost 5 lbs. My advice to you is to juice diet at least 5 to 10 days after your water fast. Take 2 glasses of juice the 1st 5 days then take 4 glasses or more the remaining 5 days (workout of course). From there do at least a 20 to 30 days raw food if you really want to drop 40lbs and drop as well 4 to 5 sizes. Just my 2 cents. After a 21 days on water and 10 days on juice, I only lost 22 lbs but I went from size 6 to size 2. You loose inches, that's a fact.
I mainly want to loose inches more than weight in fact, and reshape my body and remove all the excess fat. I realized that after 30 days you still have fat and in order to get rid of, it is by eating raw food, drinking veggie juice, water and LOTS of exercices as walking, swimming, bicycling and YOGA. I am on this till end of august.
I also learned that to reach your goal and somehow stabilize your weight, you need to be on very low cal, raw food &/or juice for certain amount of days which you calculate by adding 17 to your age. For instance, if you are 30, add 17 = 47 days to reach your goal and "stabilize".
The biggest mistake to avoid is to eat after a water fast, you will gain weight too quickly. I did this mistake, I won't this time. I regained all within 1 1/2 months.
A good planning is water, then juice, then Raw food and then slowly get back to normal eating in very small portion.
Again that was my 2 cents.
