Yuck! Someone just told me this yesterday. Some extract from shrimp is being used in Calif. strawberries to enhance colour I believe. The strawberries should also not be given to babies due to allergic responses from the seafood aspect.

Apparently Ontario (Canada) strawberries are safe, but harder to find in the supermarket.

How many of these have I eaten lately? Yuck yuck yuck.
