What would cause thin blood, when someone is not on any medication or not a vegetarian. He eats normally, drinks lot of fresh orange juice, smokes. The lightest scratch or scrape causes a hugh bruise like place or it bleeds bad. He has low blood pressure. What can he do to thicken up the blood some and should that be done? We have a dog which jumps on him and scratches so he looks spotted all the time. Any help would be appreciated.
