Now I guess we'll get to see who's daft. So called organic fertilizers (depending on the manufacturer) have been shown to be contaminated with a chemical called Brominated Di-Phenyl Ether(BDE). These orgainc contaminants closely resemble PCB(polychlorinated bi-phenyls), are fat soluable and found in ever increasing amounts in fruits and vegetables that have any amount of fat in them(peanuts, avicados.. what have you). In addition to BDE, NonoPhenols, which are estrogen mimicers, are also found in abundance. Since these are fat soluable they also bioaccumulate. So while they won't clog your arteries or make you fat they can give you cancer and disrupt/destroy your reproductive system.
And how do I know this? I did the analysis.

And that is the entire point. You have been lulled into a false sense of security by believing there is something that exempts your choice of foods from unhealthful contaminants. And the gubmnt is even less concerned about it than you appear to be.
I dont' think you understand yet. I'm not disagreeing with you. I am saying that vegetarians are no less vulnerable to food contamination than meat eaters. ANd that if you would bother to take the time to find out about what EXACTLY is in your food instead of dancing around the issue you'd know that. And I dont' think you do anyone a service by making the allusion that they dont have to be just as careful simply b/c you/they don't eat meat. They're not the same contaminants to be sure. But eating no meat hardly means you're not imbibing nasty stuff.

Or perhaps you'd care to elucidate us all to the ramifications of Godel's incompleteness theorem? I await enlightenment from your logical immenseness.

It means that simply b/c something is "organic" that it doesn't mean it's safe or good for you. I've noticed people like to throw that term around alot. All it means is that your molecule has 1 carbon and 1 hydrogen and that's all it means. LSD, DDT, STP, Dioxin, BDE, PCB and the aforementioned nerve agent VX, are ALL organic.
Magic mushrooms are natural and organic. You want to feed them to your kids?
