Thanks for replying, Hopinso. Thanks for your advice about coming off the fast and I will be careful. I wonder if you would mind sharing whether you have found fasting to increase your pain/diminish your natural painkilling ability? At the end of my fast I am experiencing neck pain. I am in two minds as to whether this is due to diminished endorphin response or some kind of healing effect (I have a long-term chronic neck problem, kept in check by meditation and low stress lifestyle). As for symptoms I have experienced, I haven't really, except for slight nausea early on (upping water intake helped this), some breathlessness in week 2 and foul taste, beside the neck pain mentioned.
