Greetings to you Cathay!
Unfortunately it is not so simple just to merely state the percentage of 'minerals 'in Celtic Seasalt ...it is a very complex matter. but if you like to drop me an email I will give you the answers you are seeking from me. As far as I am concerned, Celtic is absolutely without peer.
You may have read elsewhere that I am on day 22 of my current Water Fast and I feel so marvellous that even though it is 3am I am still bouncing around full of energy and not in the least bit tired !! Could the full moon have something to do with it ??!! I think so! I am always so energised on the night of the full moon...I love it, I can never sleep and feel excited by life and often stay up all night. But I digress...!
I never wish to sound condescending on this site ( and indeed, it is the last way I would wish to appear) BUT I have never considered the Master-Cleanse to be a fast...which it is not. To answer your question though about fecal matter..I am of the belief that the body is the ,most marvellous technical machine that is perfectly capable of curing the ills WE thrust upon it through our grossly unwise intake of food which is at the root cause of all our sicknesses ,in turn caused by our bodies desperate attempts to fight off the effects of this sometimes and mostly rubbish we shove down our throats. We are indeed what we eat!!! WATER is the most perfect and ONLY vital outside influence that our bodies need to create perfect health and maintain it for the period in which we inhabit our physical body upon this earth.Never, ever forget that water MUST be accompanied by a pinch of the grey Celtic Seasalt . Water on its own raises the blood pressure and can eventually lead to heart problems, so this is really timely advice to be heeded.
Fecal matter....water is needed for the healthy operation of all bodily functions and I have always been espcially watchful of the fecal question when I am on a Water Fast and feel that I have never had any trouble at all. For the first few days of a fast I do not pass anything, then i do quite normally. After that the action slows right down and there was two weeks between the first and the last fecal passing. I have learned to relax and be totally laid back(relaxed) about that as I feel that if there are any problems in that way with old decaying fecal matter, then I wouldn't feel as totally well and with a spring in my step as I do.I feel that with all the water I am drinking ( my half body weight amount, plus more as and when my body feels the need) I am now completely cleaned through in that area...there is no waste to come having been on the Water Fast for 22days. And I never have any motion problems when resuming normal mostly raw eating. Oh gee! I feel so happy and excited right now...I am sending you a great big smile and hug...just for you!!
As far as I am concerned the people who are using laxatives during their fasts are interferring with their bodies innate ability to cleanse and heal itself and are just giving their bodies more stress at a time when they should be letting the body relax as much as possible.
Celtic Seasalt has 14% magnesium.
I live in New Zealand in the South Pacific Ocean and sometimes in Eastern Europe. In New Zealand I pay $US 8.50 for a 500g pack of Celtic. So you get what you pay for I'm afraid. But it is a pricelss asset for your good health.
Don't forget...I will send you the exact breakdown of all the mineral elements is Celtic and the comparison with other salts. Just send me an email
Peace and every good wish, my friend
