Personally, during a juice fast I prefer enemas. I find them refreshing and actually look forward to an enema every night at bedtime. It seems to blunt any hunger pangs, and if I have an unpleasant taste in my mouth, it's usually gone by the time Im finished eliminating.

On many days while fasting I'll also take an enema upon arising or around mid-day, especially if I have a headache or just feel yucky. I almost always feel better afterwards, and more motivated to continue the fast.
