Very true. I sometimes get caught up in the not-so-fasting-educated crowd's opinion that I'll just wither away while fasting. lol Even my family, who knows and believes in fasting, gets a little wierded out by my even suggesting that we don't need protien while fasting, let alone while fasting and exercising...
