What is the best method of chelation of heavy metals ,mercury and lead included

TK--- I use Cutler's protocol also and believe it is the safest and best way to chelate. For Hg [mercury] and lead you would want to use frequent low oral dosages of DMSA/4hr as it chelates both extracellular Hg and lead. Later you would need to use some ALA/3hr to get the intracellular Hg out of the brain and organs. Protocol -http://home.earthlink.net/~moriam/ You can find help with this protocol at - http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/frequent-dose-chelation/

,is it IV therapy

TK--- IV or injection therapy is a very good way to hurt yourself and it will not address the lead - http://www.dmpsbackfire.com/default.shtml

and does anyone know if the medical insurance would cover such a treatment? And what most important what kind of test is the best to find out if I am toxic with heavy metals

TK--- Hair analysis and using Cutler's counting rules to look for the probability of Hg toxicity with deranged mineral absorption. Or trial rounds of oral chelation.

,I had a mouth full of Amalgams and had hair test done but it did not show any mercury.thank you for responding.

TK--- The Hg on hair tests does not always show up, this doesn't mean you are not toxic. You would need to analize your hair test, go over your symptoms and compair them to Hg toxicity and possibily do some trial oral chelation rounds.
