Yesterday I went to visit a cardiologist. No particular reason, just thought as I'm reaching middle age it might be a good part of a check up because I've had high blood pressure and cholesterol. I told this man how greatly helpful chelation therapy was in the past (when I was able to afford it). His office partner, my new M.D. who referred me to him, told me last week that he was considering offering chelation at the office at a more affordable fee than is offered elsewhere in order to help his many geriatric patients.
Now this cardiologist tells me that he doesn't believe in chelation only because there isn't enough conclusive evidence, unbiased testing, etc., etc, ad nauseum. I could see clearly that his soul was eternally commited to the A.M.A., but I'm afraid his
attitude will get to my doctor who may not be thoroughly convinced himself.
I would like to be armed with printed copies of studies done on chelation that I could take in to my doc next time I see him. Can anyone direct me to such sources or offer anything along these lines?
Thank you.
