Go to the Master Cleanse Forum and read the FAQs, There is only one Master Cleanse, but people do add the "P&B" shakes (psyllium and bentonite) for something called the Ultimate Cleanse. Go to the Bowel Cleanse Forum and read the FAQs.

If you are doing the P&B, apparently it comes out in "ropes", carrying mucoid placque with it.

I am not doing P&B. Nothing comes out of me in ropes, but it's coming out alright!

Is this your first colonic? I am assuming they will be using what is called a "closed system", a very high tech devise that uses ultra purified water at a certain temperature, and the tech controls the input and outflow, and the clear tube goes into the wall and straight into the sewer. Wonderful machine! I have read stories of people having BAD colonic experience with lesser equipment, and apparently not the greatest operators... check the enema and colonic board if you have any questions-- they are very knowledgeable and supportive.

I have never had anything but wonderful colonic experiences, but my naturopath is also an RN, and very experienced. And her equipment is top notch.
