My mother is 90 years of age. She still lives on her own. Last week her doctor put her on a low dosage of Alzheimer's medication, as he ( and I,too) suspect early onsets of Alzheimers. I am not at all happy reading the side effects of her medication (Arizept). Remembering how quickly mother's sister deteriorated with Alzheimers, while refusing to take any medication, makes us scared.
She also had a couple of minor strokes and is on heart medication.
I wonder how effective IV chelation therapy can be in this case? How do we find a good doctor in Toronto to administer it? What do we need to know so we don't get ripped off?
I suspect part of her problem with deteriorating memory has to do with candida. To have her on a candida diet at this age is next to impossible ( I have tried...)The Candida Buster treatment helps only a little .
Help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
