Hi Nik and anyone else reading this!

I've also just started a juice fast 5 days ago. I'm having fun but am pretty much alone here in this endeavor. I'm a do it yourself kind of person; I've done one 30 day juice fast but a loooong time ago (like 1980 or something) and this is the second time I'm doing a juice fast. I've read a lot of books but am administering it myself; mostly for weight loss but encourage the whole detox cycle. Last year I did a 6 mo. program that was a liver regeneration program involving a raw food diet; it was great! But within 6 month of finishing the program I found myself back into my old destructive eating habits (sugar meat, everything) no longer eating raw and gaining about 30 pounds. This time decided to do a juice fast to break the various food addictions and lose weight fast. Am hoping I can stick to it for 30 days or more but am taking it week by week.

Anyone else out there doing a long term juice fast?

I've been enjoying myself; no heavy detox symptoms yet and just trying to stay creative with the types and variety of juices I use. Also drinking veg broth and organic teas.

Would love some email buddies.
