Hello Kamkos,
The colon heals slowly.They say there is no CURE for UC.I believe from my own and others experiences the reason for the no CURE idea is because the colon was not given sufficient time to completely heal in the first place.The damage to each colon and the life style
of each person is different.This can make a difference in healing time.First wait until you are off all medications( reduce slowly).If no negative reaction,continue
with the procedure a while longer.Then take the stool test for blood.If no blood,stop the enemas.If no negative reaction,you are CURED.If you get a negative reaction such as lose of stool form,extra bowel movements or blood,continue with the procedure.Your colon is not healed.The most important idea to remember is DON'T be in a hurry.Your colon will not heal in such short time.After your colon is healed CURED,you can try one different food at a time.Every healed colon condition is different and each will react differently to different foods.Your colon will give you the correct answer.Judge by colon reaction not your food preferences.In the meanwhile,you are living a normal life and eating a healthy diet.The goal is CURE.
