Hi Sheldon,
Just thought I would Take some time for another update. My BM's have been slowly getting better with more consistency not all have blood. 2-3 Times a day, Gas still bothers me but I feel 100% better physically. The specialist perscribed solofalk to begin taking along with the prenisone but I have't started this new persciption yet. He says I will need to take it continually for the rest of my life to keep the UC under control or they will have to remove my colon. The prenisone causes lots of side effects and I have started weining myself off under the direction of the specialist. The diet has become more dificult to maintain since I have taken an assignment away from home but it just a matter of working out some schedule changes and it seems like I'm always perparing my next 2 meals ahead. My weightloss is under control now at least maintaining 157 lbs. It was recently suggested to increase my e enemas from 4000 ui to 6000 ui.I not questioning the proceedure just curious. Would this help me heal faster?
When can I add foods to my diet?
