You are right to be wary of Accutane. The effects of this drug may not show up for years. Nobody gets fat overnight. Nobody gets cancer overnight. Nobody gets Acne overnight. It can take YEARS for the toxic effects of something to express itself. I don't necessarily believe that if you go on Accutane and then do a cleanse, that the Accutane simply gets "cleansed out." What about the initial effects? Turning off oil production in your body is a serious thing, and not to be taken lightly. My thoery is, "IF IT'S TOXIC AND DEADLY TO A FETUS, THEN IT'S TOXIC AND DEADLY TO ME." I'm not trying to talk you out of the Accutane, but the facts don't lie.
