The diet is not limited.Eat other vegetables you may prefer.Each have a different fiber,vitamins,and minerals.Be sure the vegetables are fresh.Frozen and probably many canned vegetables have a destroyed fiber system from having been previously frozen and are therefore not effective.There are plenty to choose from.There is chicken and fish.Brown rice,barley and corn.
It is a very healthy diet.After your colon heals, you can choose other foods but you'll never eat healthier.Walk as much as possible each day.It is good for the colon.
The best indications of progress are the amount of blood and the number of bowel movements each day.
