you may want to read the book "eat right 4 your typeby Dr. Dadamo" I had extreme exzema for years and it wasn't until I read the book and found out that it was caused by foods that I Should avoid. Namely Wheat and Dairy. By avoiding these foods, than I would not get the eczema. When I eat these things, right away it was evident. I am a blood type O and this book and diet has helped me tremendously.
I used to not want to go swimming because after I get out, I would have large dry patches on my skin that lotion could not remedy. What also helps is to keep the areas affected hydrated with good moisturizer. I mix jojaba oil with a good moisturizing lotion as this works as well. Hope this helps..
