I very much enjoyed your story... I too, am a great admirer of Dr. Budwig. However, while you are doing so well.....and working so hard at restoring/maintaining your health, I would strongly recommend against ANY artificial sweetner, i.e. Sweet & Low, Equal, Splenda, etc. etc. Alternative natural sweetners are Stevia, & Xylitol. Both do a wonderful job....xylitol can be used in baking.
Stevia doesn't do as well when heated...

I hope you'll give these a try. Also, please research the site for information about Aspartame (artificial sweetners) Another wonderful source of excellent health information is: Dr. Joseph Mercola. Check out "aspartame" on his site.
