I'm going to see a dentist in the next week that I found through DAMS. Since the time I have had mercury fillings (about the 4th grade) until now (I'm 28 now) I have had severe emotional problems, many floaters in my eyes, and the list goes on. My symptoms are so severe I am now on social security disability.

I have seen many psychiatrists and psychologists, none of them could put me into any specific mental illness category. One doctor even said I was faking my problems, I assume because she was too embarassed to admit that she was stumped.

I have multiple composite cavities, gum disease, bleeding gums, bad breath, etc. After educating myself a bit about mercury Amalgam fillings I took a look inside my mouth. There are a total of 8 teeth with mercury in them. Two look ok, the other 6 are breaking down.

I am not even going to attempt at having the fillings replaced. I want these 6 teeth in question entirely removed. I don't want to risk having them drilled out, having that mercury knocked around and broken up inside my mouth, no I think it's better for me to just have the entire tooth (teeth) removed.

I am desperate. If removing ALL of my teeth is only a chance at having a normal life and feeling somewhat better, I'll do it in a heartbeat.

I was eating dinner tonight, and I was trying to chew on my left side because the fillings aren't so bad there. I felt a shooting pain and I had a strange taste. As I closed my mouth again, there was a crunch as a small bit of metal came out. I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. Yep, sure enough a small part of the "good" filling came out. I cried.

In any case, I see the dentist soon. I hope he can help me out.

Mike
