Hi, I just read your post. My son is in high school and has
a very bad case. Even my older daughter is telling me to get
him on accutane. One of my other sons took it for 3 courses,
but now at almost 20 he's back on antibios. I just can't seem
to help them. We try so many things short of the liver flushes.
I did 2 liver flushes, I have liver problems which may have
affected them. I also was treated for a year or so for high
mercury, and did dmsa detox. So maybe it's the mercury in them
and the candida from it. The son with the worst Acne has metal
braces on top of it all. It's so hard, cause I know he's suffering, but doesn't want to do the accutane. We are trying to
avoid wheat, do not each much soy. I heard that soy has a lot
of copper in it naturally. There's a theory out there that copper/zinc imbalance and also mercury cause lots of Acne problems. So we did do optizinc for a while. I really need to
find a naturopathic derm type md. I love the Blood Type Diet ,
but need to follow it closer.
