I forgot to comment on Bob's experience with working out. It seems from
what I've read, for most of us with CFS, it does NOT work to 'push through"
the pain/exhaustion experienced from exercising.

I tried that also, since it worked for my husband with RSD and for which
that does work. I finally got it through my stubborn head when the lengths
of time of exhaustion/sickness got longer and longer - up to a week and
sometimes more - despite trying to work out regardless of how I felt or
waiting until I felt better.

I'm glad it worked for him...wish it had worked for me. I like challenges
myself, but had to accept it was self-defeating in the end.
