Well " liver stones " are also known as "gallstones" also known as bascially spheres of cholesterol. I know for a fact that these stones are not just the olive oil being digested. Because I once ate a huge amount of almonds and macadamia nuts and produced the same exact smell of flatulence from the olive oil + lemon juice combination, and produced "gallstones" from eating the macadamia/almond mixture.

I hope this answers your question on the validity of the liver/gallstone question.
