You might try a different juice, and/or a lighter oil. The only juice that combines with oil is fresh squeezed grapefruit. I used a tuperware with lid, shook it up good and it was easy to drink. I read one person used hazelnut oil and had a good flush. I use a lighter olive oil, not the heavy green, and it works fine. It is necessary that the stomach be empty when taking the oo/juice. Don't let her give up, her health is too important and the surgery won't solve the problems. She will still need to flush her liver with the gall bladder gone. Good Luck. Omie
