My girlfriend and I come from a very small town in Montana (I am in SoCal now, she is in Frisco). One evening we signed up for an online dating service collectively using bs info to see who in our little town was on there, what they looked like and how they described themselves (what a hoot!).

I would be mortified if my guy found out and he would certainly wonder wtf?

Totally innocent, but...

Your guy probably wouldn't have given his ex more than a "I wonder what she's doing", but the instant seductive power of the internet lets him find out.

I would forget it and move on.
