Very interesting what you say about courage had not thought this aspect through.
But to have bags of awareness is one thing and I know a woman who is very well qualified as a psychologist but it is the courage she is lacking. Or, to put it another way, she is overcome with fear, because as a child she lived in fear, so the fear she experiences takes her back to feeling like a helpless child. Of course, trusting that all will be well can help, but actually you cannot move when the fear is intense, so the awareness I think builds the strength from within. But it takes time. Awareness is growing up; fear is the child.
