If you had told more about your Dad in the first post, then my advice would have been all together different!

I am sorry you had to deal with abuse from your Dad. No one should have to go through that. But, I still would not expect anything from him. I would just let it go. He is probably my age and the older he gets, the more guilt he should feel. Don't expect an apology from him, though. He probably won't be able to give you that.

I put myself through college, too, and feel like it was the smartest thing I ever did.

The only thing I am angry about is my nephew and I am so angry with him I could spit. Believe it or not, my own kids turned out OK in spite of me. Ha

I truly wish you the best in life and it sounds like you have a good business sense and I think you will go far.
