Dear Finally Faith,

Now, what a lucky day for me to log on and see a gift like this.

Just this morning I woke up and was nagging God, saying "Look at all the vibrant people with important work and families who adore them, dying young while I am still doddering around. WHAT are you thinking???"

Well, God's thoughts are not our thoughts. That cake parable was beautiful. I was so touched thinking You mean this might all pull together and create some meaning some day still even now?

So that was so so thoughtful and helpful of you to take that kind of trouble to type that in.

And the near-death website is splendid! That will be a definite resource to read again and again for a MUCH broader view of a much broader sky.

Dear Lady Belle,

I am relieved that my whimsy about disaster training didn't hurt your feelings. Those workers are terrific people, no question about it.
It must be said however that now at the office when something stressful arises my boss shouts "We better stock up on COOKIES."
