Oh no! I wish I could give you hug or something. I can relate to a lot of what you're going through. I have trouble holding my emotions in too. In my experience, letting them out tends to push your partner away if they don't feel the same... and it doesn't sound like he does (or else you and your daughter would be over there right now). But he should understand, he was in love once before. Maybe you should take that break (if you can handle it), and let him come to you. He just doesn't seem to be on the same level, which I know, can be VERY frusterating and hurtful. Don't push him. If he really wants to be with you, let him make the next move. I hope things get better, because being a lonely hopeless romantic is tough!
