I totally agree with you, I was just trying to be funny and lighten the mood a little. Maybe I should have noted that.

There was a small point to my message, sometimes it helps to aggressive (an explosive remark?) to make a point, let people know you are serious. Does this person beleive he/she can change mom's thinking? Or is this person more interested in stopping the vocal negitivity?

I also have a parent who hands out a lot of critisim, I don't really care what that person thinks, I just want her to stop voicing her thoughts on my situation. I don't use the "F" bomb with her, but sometimes I like to fantasize I do.
