47126, we have the same kind of relationship. Our fights sometimes escalate to phsyical violence (has happened about 6 times in 7 years), not bad but things like slap on the face (me) and him throwing me on the floor or grabbing me really tight which leaves purple marks on my arms. He also calls me names(I don't, I hate it).

We love each other and these fights are very scary.
