Hi, Because you are shy and not the aggressive type could be one of the reasons this guy is with you.

He has no right to control your money or what you spend.

I sympathise with you, as practicalities do come into it. I think really you know the answer to this one yourself.

It would cause you a great deal of stress if you lost your job again, but it will cause you constant stress if you undermine your self respect by being with someone for the wrong reasons. It is always possible although not easy to get another job. I understand your problems with your daughter's schooling.

This is a hard one.

How much longer do your daughter's need to spend in school?

Is there any way you could increase your income?

The thing is if you were looking for someone else you would be looking for security again and could end up in an even worse predicament.

There is not an easy way out in either direction.The best answer would be to increase your income and find someone else, but for the right reasons.

Do you have any talents that might enable you to become self employed or have another income on the side. For example painting or writing?
