Hi! Not sure that i'm qualified to give advice on all this, but here's my take. I think you've sacraficed a lot for others and you need to be happy in this lifetime--it's all you got! This love of your life, yes, it is unfortunate that he was married, but some things you can't help. I realize it's hard for me to really say seeing as i've never been in this situation, but I'd think that if i were married to someone who wasn't totally happy with me, and he found someone that was his soulmate, i wouldn't want him to stay with me just because. i would deserve that same kind of love in return and deserve the chance to be able to go find it. I feel for his family, honestly, but I feel for the love that shouldn't go denied either. so anyway, back to the issue, i'm confused about 1 thing--this love of your life, he honestly won't have anything do to with you? I find that very hard to believe. from what you said about soulmates and whatnot, how can he not be with you? i would work on this reconciliation with him. If it really is impossible, then you need to move on as well. you may be able to find that kind of love elsewhere. Secondly, if you are so unhappy with your husband, then do something about it. It's hard to leave with the kids, but you will and can find a way. Lean on your friends and family for support. Staying in an abusive relationship is no way to live. Don't leave for another man, leave because you know you need to, regardless of who else is in your life. Also, i think your son and your husband deserve to know the truth of his parentage.

Don't beat yourself up too much. Things happen in life you don't intend. we're not perfect beings. Just be honest with yourself and your family and never stop loving.
