you posted a valuable post, so i'd thought i'd by pass all this squabbling and maybe help?

i'm not by any means an expert on relationships, i don't really thing there is such a thing? we constantly learn. i recently left a guy who is still in love with me, we live together and it feels awful because i love him but...but...we are not meant to be. as we got to know our differences became more apparent and we drifted. he is persistant on working things out but for me it's just not there. there are many reasons i'm not gonna get into here, but in my heart of hearts it does not feel right, at this time.

so, saying all this, i just wanna say is DON'T get all self destructive and drown your sorrows. have a few maybe and talk to your buddies. expand your circle of friends, and find more hobbies and things you like to do. it's summer so get outside! the end of a relationship is not the end of everything, there will be plenty of love in your life to come especially since this is your first. the first is always the most painful from what i've heard. but don't get jaded and discouraged. the pain will go away with time, i promise! give it time and focus on you! :-)
