Alright Peachy, there is a value to having on-line friends of the opposite sex EXCEPT when one's advice is comprimised when given to the other gender because they're trying to impress the other sex.

I was lied to a lot by an ex-girlfriend whom I had a 9-year on-again/off-again relationship. But I've got to stop carrying that baggage around and biting other's heads off when they exhibit the same signs.

It is interesting to hear from a female perspecctive that you could "understand why you wouldn't want a friendship with her in particular"

The next time I experience this experience as opposed telling her that I don't want to exchange mail, I'll just simply ignore emails from her.
