I agree with what you are saying and it was MY FAULT for talking to her again. I also like how you state the difference between a sincere, unfettered apology and a self-serving half-ass one. But no, I know that I don't deserve it and the realtionship is dead. I hope it was worth it for her. It will take a couple of years to realize that
'doormat #1' is permanently gone.

When I stated that this all happened last Sunday, I meant 8 days ago (1/4/04). So far, so good, no calls and no way for her to contact me unless I get stupid and unblock her.

I know myself and I know that this is really the end. There wasn't a recently dissolved real-relationship to get over so that makes it a lot easier to move forward.
