It sounds like die off or a reaction to the juice to me. Perhaps, if you try reducing your CO to 1 tbs again, while keeping everything else the same, you may be able to narrow it down. I'm actually inclined to believe that it is the juice though. My skin breaks out a lot from acidic juices, and any juice is bound to be more concentrated in acids than the fruit alone.
