Hello all - this is a very interesting message board.

I recently began taking VCO again after about a 6 month lapse. I never took it at the 3tbsp a day dose but I was using it fairly often. This time I am taking about 2tbsp a day so far and putting it on my face and hair every day (just a little bit, it goes a long way).

When I first started up about two weeks ago I had been doing a Bowel Cleanse with Oxypowder for about 2-3 weeks. I had not done a Liver Flush in 6 months as I had done three in a row two weeks a part and had gotten sick from too much too soon. So I am familiar with the results.

I started taking coconut oil on a Saturday night and Monday morning I started noticing cholesterol/ liver stones coming out. This went on for the two days, and I saw about double what I'd gotten out before with regular olive oil flushes, plus I saw my first green stones (all have been tan previously). The largest was as big as a jelly bean! If you've taken Oxypowder you know everything is watery when it comes out and these were floating on top. To be sure this is what happened, I'd been having right shoulder blade pain for about a month, like I had a bad knot in there, and after Monday the pain was gone.

I have read many times that coconut oil cannot cause a Liver Flush but I guess I'm the exception to the rule. Anyway, it hasn't happened since then and I've been taking it daily. I plan on an actual Liver Flush this weekend with olive oil as it must be overdue to be spontaneously happening with VCO!

I've been taking Garden of Life VCO but just got some Wilderness Family Phillipine's VCO in the mail yesterday. They are both good but the WF one is a little creamier textured in my opinion.
