I have been using Coconut oil for the past few months. Really love the stuff but I just had some blood done this week and I had the following changes with my cholesterol readings.

OLD NUMBERS (FEB '04 per coconut oil)
Total cholesterol = 154
HDL cholesterol = 45
LDL cholesterol = 74
cholesterol/HDL ratio = 3.6

New Numbers ( OCT '04 post coconut oil )
Total cholesterol = 219
HDL cholesterol = 59
LDL cholesterol = 146
cholesterol/HDL ratio = 3.7

As you can see everything went up! I am more concern with the LDL cholesterol reading. Or should I be? Any advice or links would be great.
