What "mother" do you use? I was under the impression from what I've read that it is different between the "mother" of kombucha and the "mother" of vinegar. Although I have read that if you do not have a "starter" for the kombucha that you can use a small amount of apple cider vinegar, but not in replacement from the "mother/mushroom" of the kombucha.

Please clarify.
