Try slippery elm the herb. You can buy it by the ounce at the health food store in those jars. Mix it with water into a thicker paste apply it to a small area cover it up with some guaze overnite. Just so the tape doesnt touch the infected skin. Next morn see if it helped. repeat if it does work. If it does work get the slippery elm from Pacific Botanical you will get at wholesale price and a real good quailty. The other thing I work try if your baby is constipated Dr Christopher has a wonder Kid-e- lax formula that is in tincture that works wonderful on my child. Remember all dieases start from the colon or liver.
