On my first flush, I didn't eat very much (only fat-free things) and about 7:30 drank some Mountain Dew, (fat-free) and about 30 minutes later, started throwing up. So, next time, I will follow directions! You can not eat/drink ANYTHING...except the solutions for the cleanse.
