Hi Jasmine
I have just checked out the website and the probiotics you mentioned. The problem with this product is that firstly it is in "freeze dried" tablet. Can you imagine any organism survive being freeze dried? It does not matter how many billions bacteria there are, less than 5% will survive freeze dried. Besides we do not normally require more than 100 million.
Secondly, when you consume and assuming that the bacteria is revived, how can it withstand the harsh stomach acids? Only L. acidophillus can survive weak stomach acids and the others like L. bifidus etc will be killed. No protection for the bacteria to enable it to get to the intestines whee they are most effective in assisting absorption of nutrients and cleaning of the intestines especially the colon/bowel.
The 5 strains may be insufficient as different regions of the digestive system requires different lactic bacteria to be most effective. Last but not least, which are the transient and which are the colonizing strains. The colonizing strains are important as they are permanent and stays to keep and prevent bad and harmful bacteria to generate. The transient have their functions too but needs to be replenished regularly.
I hope this information is useful. Important to understand what you are consuming and whether they might work. I am not suggesting that these products would not work but maybe at minimal efficiency.
Take care
