Hi Lapis,
I just read your post above about the spirit having a human experience. WOW, I mentioned this in my post above and then read your post. We are on the same page. I have came to this understanding having a conversation with my mother a few months ago who is now a ordained minister. We were talking about the spirit as our higher being and the flesh as a vessel to hold the spirit which will transend to it's original state after the flesh goes through it's trial period on earth. So that's when we came to the conclusion that we're here conquering a very human experience.
Our spirits are complete, but or human existance is not and this is why we are constantly searching for peace because we are so un connected from our true inner being. This is why I totally agree with you-Richido-Andreas. It's a hard thing trying to re-program your self from the learned things that are totally against our intended nature because of being creatures of habit. It gets uncomfortable when we have been presented with the duty to change yet it's just as uncomfortable staying in a state were you know deeply that it's time for your transformation for disturbance to inner peace. I believe this is when we start to get sick, do things knowing and unknowing that are detrimental to us.
In closing, I would like to state that, regardless of what your religious background is, We are spiritual beings of energy and light intended to bring light and love to one another. We were created in this light and there is a positive and a negative aspect to life and also a choice is givin to all of us to follow either road, and a positive or negative consequence to every choice or decision we make.
