Yes, you are right about waiting in between flushes. The ones I have done in the past, I have always waited two-three weeks. But, because I got out so few stones the last time, (and they were really, really green) I just wanted to see if I had any left. I will probably wait a while before I flush again and you know what? That makes me a little sad. I really love doing them!!
