The following is what I have personally tried: Before bedtime, I lightly coat my ear canal with "Herbal Savvy" Aloe ointment and then carefully insert 1/3 clove of garlic. I then place a cotton ball to maintain the clove in place. If you try the above, make sure you do not hurt yourself when coating the ear or inserting the garlic. Also make sure the garlic piece is large enough that you will not loose it in the ear canal. It is not necessary to go too deep
