Interesting, Nat! An allergic reaction?

My situation is a bit different. I haven't gotten the taste in my mouth from the pads. But, with the knowledge that the pads keep me awake, I've been taking baths with perioxide to help remove the chemicals from my feet before going to bed. Helps. And, of course, the perioxide can detox too. Takes care of two things at once. (^_-) Karen
