I use organic apple juice from the health food stores. Most regular stores don't have "organic" and you must have organic. Filtered isn't the same as organic. I have never juiced my own apples :) The organic has the stuff on the bottom that you need to shake up before you drink, I think it tastes very very good personally. Good luck!
