I definitely believe flushing will help---triglyceride levels respond very well to good fats such as olive oil, fish oil, etc. I'm 28 and have high cholesterol and triglycerides that are coming down. My mother has had great success with bringing her triglycerides down by using good fats in replace of the usual transfats that are in so many prepared foods. You'll be around with your family, you just have to take action.
